Welcome to Vivian Peralta Mesa Counseling | Virtual Therapy Services in Vancouver and Across Washington
Maybe you have noticed that the two of you keep ending up in the same painful arguments, or that lately you feel more like roommates than partners. Maybe conversations fall apart quickly, and one or both of you is starting to feel hurt, frustrated, distant, or alone. When a relationship begins to feel shaky, it is easy to get caught in patterns like shutting down, getting critical, pulling away, or reacting in ways that only make things worse. Before long, the closeness, comfort, and sense of being on solid ground with each other can start to feel hard to reach.
Therapy can help you find your way back to each other. As you begin to understand the patterns that keep pulling you apart, it becomes easier to talk, listen, and respond in ways that bring more closeness and intimacy instead of more hurt.
For others it may be that you are coming out of an unhealthy, toxic or narcissistic relationship that left you feeling hurt, confused, drained, or unsure of yourself; of what really happened. Doubting your own reality. You may be trying to make sense of what happened, heal from the emotional harm, rebuild trust in yourself, and learn to recognize what healthy love actually looks and feels like. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, heal old wounds, and move toward a new relationship that is healthy, safe, and secure.
Together, we will notice the patterns that keep pulling you into the same painful place and begin creating new ways of responding that feel safer, steadier, and more secure, so healing and connection become something you can truly feel again, not just hope for.
The first step toward change often begins with one brave conversation. Let’s talk.
Counseling Services at a Glance

Couples Counseling
If you’re feeling disconnected, stuck in the same fights, or like you can’t reach each other anymore, this is a space to slow things down and get to what’s really happening underneath. We’ll name the pattern that keeps showing up, understand the softer feelings and longings under the conflict, and help you find your way back to feeling close, safe, and standing shoulder to shoulder, facing the problem together. No more guessing what’s wrong; we’ll make sense of the cycle and create a new way through it.

Individual Therapy
Support for the worry that won’t shut off, the heaviness that makes everything feel harder, the impact of trauma, and getting your footing again after divorce or separation, including relationships that felt emotionally draining, confusing, or controlling. We’ll focus on helping you hear yourself more clearly, trust your instincts again, and build relationships that feel steadier, more mutual, and nurturing. This is a space to come home to yourself steadily and at your own pace. Minimum age for therapy is 21.

Pre-Marital | Pre-Commitment | Relationship Enrichment
Certified Prepare/Enrich sessions for couples preparing for marriage, exploring deeper commitment, or moving through big life transitions like parenthood, career changes, or retirement. These sessions help you understand each other’s needs, have the conversations that matter, and create a more intentional, connected foundation. Less “we hope it works,” more “we know how to stay connected when life gets loud.”

Healing from Emotionally Harmful Relationships
Healing from manipulation, gaslighting, self-doubt, and the pain of relationships with narcissistic people. You can begin to trust yourself again, soften the fear that keeps you second-guessing, and choose relationships where your needs, voice, and heart matter. Move towards a love that does not ask you to disappear in order to keep it.

Every relationship has a rhythm —
therapy helps you find your way back
to harmony.

Why Choose Online Therapy
So many people I meet tell me the same thing — that the idea of driving somewhere, finding parking, and walking into an office is enough to keep them from reaching out. Online therapy removes those barriers. You can settle into your favorite chair, close your door, and arrive exactly as you are… without rushing, without performing, and without feeling like you have to be “on” for anyone.
There’s something very human about meeting in the spaces where you already live your life. Many people find that they often open up more easily when they’re surrounded by their own familiar comforts, and that sense of ease helps the work feel more grounded and steady.
If you’re carrying exhaustion, long workdays, caregiving, or that heavy “I’m holding everything together” feeling, online sessions can be a gentler way in. You don’t have to spend your energy getting to therapy, but rather, you get to use it in therapy. And when life shifts, you don’t have to lose your support.
Sessions are held through a simple, secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, so your privacy is protected while we create a space that feels steady, calm, and deeply connected even through a screen. This format also allows for protected time and focus, so our work is not rushed or squeezed in. We make room for what matters.

Healing begins the moment
you feel seen
and are no longer
alone in your struggle.
Meet Vivian | Bilingual Virtual Therapist in Washington State
I’ve spent more than 25 years helping people find their way back to connection with themselves and with those they love. My approach is rooted in compassion, honesty, and curiosity. I listen for the emotions that often stay tucked beneath the surface that are longing to be understood, the fear of not being enough, the quiet hope that things can feel different. Often, it’s not that you “don’t know what to do.” It’s that something tender has been carrying too much, for too long.
As a Spanish-speaking therapist, I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, creating space for you to express yourself in the language that feels most natural, most like home. My Latin American background gives me a deep appreciation for how culture, faith, and family shape our relationships, our identities, and the ways we learn to care for ourselves and others.
I also hold a deep commitment to creating a space where every identity feels welcomed and you don’t have to explain yourself, where your lived experience is honored, and where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, part of a blended or multicultural family, or navigating a path that doesn’t fit neatly into any category, you belong here.
I believe that healing happens through connection; when we can reach out and feel met with warmth instead of judgment. My hope is that this becomes a space where you can exhale, settle into your own pace, and reconnect with what truly matters to you: a space where your story is honored, your emotions are welcomed, and you don’t have to hold everything alone.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin; you just need a space where you feel safe to start.
